Protecting pollinators through education, outreach, and habitat preservation
We leverage public and private partnerships to conserve and promote pollinator habitats.
This honeybee colony was under a bridge in a residential neighborhood. Bee Balanced volunteers carefully detached the comb from the bridge and moved it into a hive body. The bees were relocated to a safe and sheltered space away from people and predators. The honey was salvaged and fed to the bees while they learned where to find forage in their new environment.
We provide educational materials to communities, home owner’s associations, and K-12 educators to improve understanding for the need and benefits of pollinators in any environment.
Join us in creating positive change through community-driven solutions. By working together, we strengthen our neighborhoods, improve health outcomes, and protect our shared environment. Every small action - from organizing local cleanups to supporting sustainable initiatives - builds momentum for lasting impact. Your involvement makes our community more resilient, connected, and vibrant.
Did you know that the blue agave is pollinated only by bats? Without these furry pollinators, there would be no tequila.
